SIP is an opportunity for students to learn how to code early and apply their new skills in building real products while still in school, and thereafter, get recruited. It is open to students with interest in software development, all over Africa, willing to put in the extra work of combining schooling with active coding.

Take Assessment.

In order to participate in the program, you will go through a remote assessment process to prove that you can pick up little skills without too much guidance. Successful students are then offered admission into program.

Make Payment.

Students offered admission into the program will be required to pay the token attached to the program within a time frame. Timely payment is necessary to avoid a withdrawal of the admission offered.

Get On-boarded.

Get exclusive mentorship while learning, with our world-class curriculum. The faster you learn, the faster you can access internships and get on our payroll. Acquire more technical experience working with the best startups, and at the end of the program, get recruited.

What is SIP?


It is a remote fellowship that helps students interested in a career in software engineering learn and work while in school, and get hired afterwards.




Is it only open to students?


Yes. It is only open to students of higher education with at least 2 years to graduation. If you are not a student, kindly join the A-XPerience.


Do I need experience to start SIP?


Absolutely not. You do not need any software experience to start, but you would need to have a basic knowledge of how to use a computer, and be willing to learn the basics on your own.

What will I learn?


We have two paths - Web and Mobile development. Depending on your preference, we will help you learn how to build software that matter. Your learning path will consist of HTML/CSS, Javascript, React/React Native, DevOps, etc.



What is the cost of the fellowship?


The SIP is only $300.


Why should I pay, especailly when I can learn on my own?


First of all, what you pay is just a token, and not enough value compared to your learning experience. Moreover participating in this fellowship guarantees you work, where you earn back your commitment and more.

How flexible is the program?

When is the SIP start and application deadline?


Our fellowship runs throughout the year. We have several cohorts that begin at specific times of the year. The application deadline for each cohort is at most 1 month to the starting date.
